What is ClearlyClosed?
ClearlyClosed is a new concept in photography, which captures storefronts in everyday neighborhoods that leave their “open” sign on long after they’ve closed.
A ClearlyClosed photograph is able to capture this concept by showing that the store’s lights are out, a security grate is in place, or any other means that the photographer can express this idea.
See ClearlyClosed photo tips for more techniques to capture a ClearlyClosed photograph.
ClearlyClosed.com is a user-driven, collaborative and ongoing community photography project which launched in late May, 2008. Visitors of the site are able to submit their own ClearlyClosed photograph to be displayed on the site.
The purpose of this website is not to defame or exploit, but rather to express the ironic nature of the situation through a medium that can reach a worldwide audience.
When you’re ready to submit your own ClearlyClosed photograph, please feel free to use the form on the submit a photo page.
